Studio Nicole is a video and photography studio focused on capturing real moments, thoughtful details, and stories that feel honest to the people behind them.

Meet Nicole.

Nicole has always been drawn to storytelling, art, and finding meaning in everyday moments.

She grew up on a sheep and dairy farm in southwest Manitoba, where an early appreciation for pace, environment, and observation began to shape how she sees the world.

From there, her path expanded outward, including time spent as an exchange student in Taiwan, followed by earning both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an Education degree from the University of Manitoba.

Before starting her studio, Nicole spent six years as a public school teacher. That experience continues to influence how she works today, bringing patience, clarity, and a strong ability to connect with people into every project.

In 2024, she completed a Media and Communications diploma with honours from Assiniboine College, where she focused on documentary work, commercial video, and production across different formats. She has since worked with both a film house and a marketing agency, leading projects from concept through to final delivery.

Today, Nicole runs Studio Nicole full time, working from her downtown studio in Brandon, Manitoba and partnering with clients across a range of industries.

How we work.

Nicole’s approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in understanding the bigger picture.

She takes the time to learn about your business, your goals, and how the content will actually be used.

This shapes everything, from how a shoot is planned, to how moments are captured, to how the final assets are delivered.

Many clients continue working with Nicole across multiple projects, building a library of content that evolves with their brand.

Beyond the work.

Outside of her projects, Nicole continues to draw inspiration from the same things that first shaped her creative perspective.

She splits her time between Brandon and her tiny house near Clear Lake, and spends as much time as she can outdoors.
