A repeat annual event coverage project combining candid photography and on-site headshot delivery for Brandon University Co-op Program’s Co-op Kick-Off Celebration.
Context
The Co-op Kick-Off Celebration brings together students, alumni, faculty, and employer partners to launch Brandon University’s Co-op season.
Studio Nicole was brought in for a second consecutive year to document the event and provide professional headshots for participating students.
Approach
The event was captured with a candid, people-first approach, focusing on natural interaction, connection, and energy throughout the evening.
Alongside coverage, a roaming headshot system was used to photograph 50–60 students between speeches and networking, keeping the experience relaxed and efficient.
Process
As the sole photographer, I managed full event coverage while directing and posing students through quick, natural headshot sessions across multiple locations.
The workflow balanced speed and quality to ensure consistent, professional results without disrupting the flow of the event.
Outcome
The final deliverables included a full event gallery and professional student headshots.
The imagery captured both candid event energy and career-ready portraits for students, and the client shared strong feedback on the relaxed experience and final results.
