Context
Trevor Martens wanted a polished, consistent video series that could support both long-form educational content and short-form promotional marketing across multiple platforms.
Approach
Rather than filming one video at a time, the production was structured as a full content day designed to efficiently create multiple episodes with a cohesive visual identity.
Filmed in Trevor’s home, the space was transformed into a functional studio set using intentional lighting, framing, and styling to match his approachable but professional teaching brand.
Process
Pre-production included planning around visual strategy, set design, shot consistency, and platform usage.
As the sole creator, I handled studio setup, lighting, filming, direction, and post-production while also guiding delivery and pacing throughout the recording process.
Five educational episodes, branded thumbnail imagery, and multiple short-form reels were produced within a single shoot day.
Outcome
The final deliverables included a five-part YouTube series, promotional reels, and custom thumbnail imagery.
Together, the content provided I Help You Write Things with a cohesive bank of professional assets for YouTube, Instagram, and ongoing educational marketing.
